I had the same recorded message saying they were from HMRC and I had to ring back to avoid going to court
April 25, 2021 This is a scam call. I worked for HMRC for 15 years & they would NOT phone you to tell you that you are being taken to court. HMRC will always contact you by letter, with official phone number, reference number, return address & contact name.

April 25, 2021 Fraudulent call purporting to be from HMRC and advising that I had committed a serious offence and rthis was my last chance to aviod the matter going to Court
