This number sent me a message asking me about a money transaction with Currys.co.uk!!!! Wasn't me and I don't have a Santander account!!!!

Said was from santader re transaction for £1940 from currys and to call if this was the case, this is not a valid number for Santander

I have a Santander account, called the number supplied which sounded legit. Took me 16 mins to smell the rat before hanging up and checking out the number on Google. Cost me £8/9 to suss them out

The worst thing about this scam is for those with Santander accounts, it actually arrives on the same text message feed that gives you balance updates - how on earth have Santander allowed this to happen?

Apparently from santander along if I had made a transaction of 1940 at curry's. If not to call them. Was just about then I thought hang on I'm not even with them. SCAM

Just got a text from Santander asking if I made a transaction to Currys for £1940 on the 13th December 2016, I don't have and never had a Santader account however I called the number provided just to find out why I received the message. I got into a queue
