A young male with an Indian accent called saying he was from Microsoft and that my computer had some Malware on it. I wasn't convinced he was legit and said he was probably a scammer. He tried to convince me otherwise but I told him no and put the phone

Scammer - Indian with a British name pretending to be Microsoft support. Try and keep them on the phone as long as possible to waste their time :) also leave a loud whistle next to the phone so you can finish the call making their ears bleed!

Indian scam call center purporting to be Microsoft, if Bill Gates is that wealthy why does he not sort out these scammers? My advice is buy a MAC or tell them you do not own a computer!
