I rejected the call....12 times in 2 minutes! They just kept calling! I finally blocked the number.

I called back. Someone with a gravely voice (male? female?) said he/she was the switchboard. Asked for my number. I gave it (no biggie since Caller ID is a thing). Person mumbled something back and hung up after I said “what?”
